Metallic Elephant

I borrowed this awesome idea from the Young House Love book. We all know I love spray paint. And inexpensive projects. OK, and knick knacks. This project eaisly transforms a cheap, plastic toy into a semi-expensive looking centerpiece, bookend or desk decoration. This took about 1 minute to complete. Really, the hardest part was trying to find the elephant. I ended up finding one for $1 at Pat Catan’s craft store.  You can paint it any color you like, but I recommend Krylon’s ColorMaster silver spray paint for a classy metallic silver finish. Go ahead, steal your child’s toy for this project.
