About the Author

Dina Younis is a Palestinian-American writer, content creator, podcaster, and lifelong thrifter based in Akron, Ohio. Dina has spent more than 17 years helping others discover the creative and colorful side of thrifting through her work on Dina’s Days.

S is for Secondhand is Dina’s debut children’s book, written to spark conversations about reuse, generosity, and creativity. Inspired by her own kids and her colorful lifestyle, the book is a celebration of all things secondhand.

Nadia Alnashar is a Syrian illustrator based in Akron, Ohio with a passion for storytelling through rich textures and intricate details.
