Las Vegas is the kind of place that truly offers something for everyone. One of my favorite things about visiting Vegas is that you can plan your visit based on your specific interests, whether you want to party or just relax, you can discover something new each and every time.
This post will hardly scratch the surface and barely covers all of the places you can visit in Las Vegas, but if you’re looking for a few great recommendations for your visit, start here!
Stay at the Flamingo Hotel
The Flamingo Hotel & Casino is a sprawling resort located on the Las Vegas Strip complete with restaurants, entertainment, shops, pools, and even a wildlife habitat. It’s one of the oldest resort on the Strip, but they have recently renovated many of the rooms. They offer a variety of accommodations from standard rooms to suites. I highly recommend the suites if you plan on sharing a room with others. It was spacious, clean, and affordable. If you’re looking to party, visit the adult-only Go Pool for loud music and expensive drinks. The family pool offers a more relaxed environment, with equally as expensive drinks 🙂
Visit the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden
The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a FREE stunning attraction located within the Bellagio Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s known for its breathtaking display of vibrant flowers, lush foliage, and intricate botanical arrangements, all meticulously designed and maintained. The displays get changed seasonally, so check their website for the most recent theme. While you’re there, walk around the Bellagio and enjoy the beautiful hotel, pool, luxury stores, and more. You’ll feel like a celebrity!
Have Dinner at Flights Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a food lover’s paradise, with an unparalleled selection of dining options to satisfy every craving. From celebrity chef restaurants to hidden gems off the beaten path, the culinary scene in Vegas is nothing short of extraordinary.
Flights Restaurant & Bar specializes in serving food and drinks in flights of three. Whether it’s tacos, fries, or margaritas, they are the perfect for sharing. We loved everything that we ordered and it was one of the most affordable meals we had on our trip. Google says Flights has outdoor seating, but they don’t as it is located inside the Miracle Mile Shops.
Grab Breakfast at Hash Hash A Go Go
Hash House A Go Go is a popular restaurant chain in Las Vegas known for its creative twists on comfort food classics, generous portions, and casual dining atmosphere. I’m not joking, the portions are enormous, so plan on sharing. The restaurant gets very busy but the wait line moves pretty quickly.
Experience Fremont Street
Venture downtown to Fremont Street and prepare for an electrifying atmosphere of the Fremont Street Experience. Here you’ll see a dazzling canopy of LED lights, live music, street performances, historic casinos, zip lining, and a whole lot of chaos! The first time I went to Fremont Street, I was a bit overwhelmed and overstimulated, but it’s definitely something worth seeing, at least once.
Catch a Show at the Sphere
The Sphere is a futuristic entertainment venue designed to redefine the live entertainment experience. It features a fully immersive interior with an LED screen wrapping around the interior of the sphere, creating a massive canvas for visual effects and displays. Chat with one of the robots, catch the featured performance, or just stand outside and marvel at this mind-blowing display!
