Denim & Mustard

The thrift store is great for mixing vintage with newer items you already own. I wear this 1990 something denim top so much. For $2, I easily got at least 8 outfits out of it.

If you feel overwhelmed at the thrift store, the one piece of advice I can give you is to beeline to the denim shirts and just focus on that. It will be one of the most versatile items you will ever buy! I wear denim shirts a lot, click here to browse through archives for style inspiration. For this look, I mixed my vintage top and boots with newer pieces including my jeans, bag, and cardigan. Fashion is constantly repeating itself so although my bag is new, it’s a style straight out of the 90s so it pairs well with my vintage denim shirt.
