Organix Moroccan Argan Oil vs. Moroccan Oil

What is Argan Oil?
Actual argan oil comes from the fruit of the Argan tree which is native to Morocco. It is rich in Vitamin E and is great for skin, nails, and hair. Most mainstream argan oil is diluted with ingredients and preservatives, so naturally, 100% argan oil is the best option.

What’s with the Moroccan Oil hype?
Moroccan Oil (the brand) hit the shelves of salons over recent years and exploded in popularity. It claimed to provide shine, softness, and bring damaged, dry hair back to life. According to thousands of reviews online, the majority of reviewers have been raving about Moroccan Oil saying it has lived up to it’s promise.

Moroccan Oil vs. Organix Moroccan Argan Oil
Naturally, when a product succeeds as well as Moroccan Oil did, other companies are going to jump on the opportunity to provide similar, but more affordable versions. The most important factor for me was ingredients.

The ingredients in both products are almost identical.

Organix brand:

Cyclopentasiloxane, cyclomethicone, dimethicone, argania spinoza (argan) kernel oil, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, fragrance (parfum), red 17 (CI 26100), yellow 11 (CI 4700).

Moroccan Oil brand:

CYCLOMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE, ARGANIA SPINOSA (ARGAN) KERNEL OIL, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, LINUM USITATISSIMUM (LINSEED) SEED EXTRACT, CI 26100 (RED 17), CI 47000 (YELLOW 11). MOT01

Both will last a very long time because you only need to use a tiny bit. Dozens of new brands have emerged on the scene since argan oil treatments increased in popularity in recent years. I personally highly recommend Black Seed Oil as a healthy, all natural ingredient that promotes healthy hair.
