Although not a brand new purchase, this thrifted necklace is still one of my favorite finds, especially because it was only $3 and IT OPENS. There’s something really special about locket necklaces. They are dainty and personal. I’ve been a little bored lately so I’m thinking about arranging a local “thrift style event” to encourage people, especially those who are find thrift shops overwhelming, to thrift. I’m still in the beginning stages of brainstorming some ideas but would like it to be a fun way for people to get together, learn how to navigate a thrift store, and score some great deals. I’ll keep you posted if this idea ever materializes.
