Thrift aisles are full of treasures, but certain vintage brands just keep delivering classic pieces, great quality, and style that lasts. These are my go-to brands for everyday wear:
Liz Claiborne and Liz Wear
I have such a soft spot for this brand. Liz Claiborne truly mastered effortless, everyday style. Their pieces were designed with working women in mind, so you’ll often find well-made blouses, trousers, and blazers, and bags. This is a brand I reach for time and again.

Pendleton:
Famous for its plaid patterns, woolen textiles, and cozy blankets, Pendleton also offers a wide range of vintage clothing options, including blazers, skirts, blouses, and outerwear. This brand has been known for over a century, so you can be sure you’re getting a quality-made piece.

Harve Benard:

I rarely pass on a Harve Benard piece. Its known for professional wear, so you’ll likely come across lots of blazers, suits, and dresses. They’re classic yet versatile enough to be incorporated into a modern wardrobe.
Vintage Ann Taylor:
Ann Taylor has been a known brand for modern women’s fashion, and their vintage pieces are no exception. In fact, I’d say the quality was much better 20+ years ago. My personal favorite: vintage silk and wool Ann Taylor dresses.

Union Made:
Union Made is not a single brand but a label used to identify clothing that was produced by unionized workers. Clothing with the “Union Made” tag is often associated with quality craftsmanship and ethical manufacturing practices. Be on the lookout for this label when thrifting, as it signifies not just a vintage find but also a piece of history supporting worker rights.

Lawrence Kazar:
If you’re a sucker for vintage beaded formal wear like me, a Lawrence Kazar piece is your next gem. This brand is known for its beaded and sequined silk dresses, jackets, and eveningwear.

Vintage Talbots:
One of my absolute favorite brands to thrift, Talbots has been a beloved brand for its timeless and preppy designs. I love their fun, and often quirky designs, classic blazers, shoes, and blouses.

Evan Picone:

If you love polished, timeless pieces, Evan Picone is a solid brand to thrift. Their shoes, bags, and blazers have that classic, structured look that never really goes out of style.

Vintage Express
1990s Express pieces were made with better fabrics and construction than what you typically see today, which means they hold up beautifully over time. The blazers and knit sweaters are always a must for me when I’m thrifting. They strike the perfect balance of trendy and timeless.
