Each year, leading paint experts and interior designers predict colors that ultimately inspire the year’s upcoming fashion, design, art, and interior trends. As a color and thrift enthusiast, one of my favorite things to do is to research these colors and attempt to find them at thrift stores. Keep reading for some inspiration on how to thrift and style these colors.
Viva Magenta
Inspired by nature and by the red of cochineal, a deep red dye, expect to see a lot of magenta in the upcoming months, as it’s Pantone’ official color of the year. Many thrift stores organize the housewares by color, so it makes it really easy if you’re looking to decorate with this shade – head straight to the reds and pinks sections.

Spanish Moss
This deep, hunter green is Krylon paint’s pick of the year. This color pairs well with tropical colors as well as neutrals like gray and beige.

Blush / Beige
Redend Point selected by Sherwin Williams as their color of the year is perfect for those who love earth tones and are looking for an updated neutral. This color works well for both fashion and interiors.
