I hopped on Pinterest the other day to get some inspiration for casual outfits and noticed a reoccurring theme on my style board that I hadn’t realized before: everything I’ve been pinning for spring features a crisp, white, relaxed button down shirt. This instantly inspired me to add a white shirt to my thrift wish list until I realized I could easily borrow one of my husband’s shirts. I layered it with a pink trench I’ve had for over a decade, distressed ankle jeans, and my favorite new fringe stacked heel. He paid me a compliment not even realizing it was his shirt. Furthermore, not only am I wearing my husband’s clothes but I also reeked of charcoal burning on the grill to the left of me as these pictures were being taken. Here’s to husbands.
