Photography: Bicycles

I’m an advocate for biking. Although I live in the suburbs, one of the things I admire most about city life are the number of people riding bikes as a main mode of transportation. If I lived in an area where it was possible to ride my bike to work or to grab a bite, I would take advantage of it to the fullest. For now, I’m only able to ride certain distances. Though I’m sure I could push myself to go further, sometimes it’s just unrealistic. Bicycles have been around for well over a 100 years and I often find myself lost in photos of these single-track vehicles. I especially love vintage Schwinn bikes and those with baskets. I’m taking it back to my childhood and definitely adding a basket to my next bike.  Above is a photo I took in Downtown Cleveland of a bike awaiting it’s owner outside of a cafe.
