Music: Classic Album Covers

Although the most important part of an album lies on the inside, the cover serves as a medium by which the listener is prepared for an enjoyable audible experience.  The outside of the album plays a vital role in priming the individual. With the advances in digital technology and a rising interest in graphic design, independent creativity has become much more accessible. It is important to note that creativity has no age. Once upon a time, LP’s spun in living rooms providing families with entertainment that is now available at the click of a button. On the cover of these albums were images that piqued the interest of the listener and became just as memorable as the songs. Regardless of genre, album covers continue to leave an indelible imprint in the mind.
