Seafoam

I think my recent seafoam craze began when I began to subscribe to Martha Stewart’s daily craft tip. I just love the colors on her website. A few weeks later at work, someone left a Better Homes and Garden magazine open to an article on how to decorate with shades light blues and greens.  Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for anything seafoam. What an inviting color for spring! It’s like a breath of fresh air. Tory Burch used a bit of seafoam in her Spring 2012 Ready to Wear collection including this beautiful full length dress, and Vera Wang’s seafoam pieces are simply flawless. Beyond the runway, decorating with seafoam green is bound to brighten up a room and will practically invite spring to come in and stay for a cup of coffee. I just know I’ll be able to find tons of blouses in a seafoam shade at the thrift stores and I’m excited to pair it with lace, yellow, and even pink thanks to the endless inspiration on Pinterest.

On a side note, doesn’t the Topshop dress pictured above look pretty similar to the Tory Burch dress?
