Payless is the type of place I tend to forget about. It’s not a place I frequent because I haven’t had any luck there probably since high school or early college. With all of the new designer collaborations such as Christian Siriano and Lela Rose, it seems Payless has a little more to offer than before. I happened to catch a Payless commercial today and instantly noticed these Dexter moccasins and thought I could really use a pair for spring. I think they look good with skinny or cropped pants as well as shorts, and casual spring/summer dresses. I especially love the gold ones pictured above!
Another trend I’m loving: hooded sandals. I’ve seen these around over the last couple summers, but have noticed that they’re popping up more and more this season. My sister’s e-mails with links to adorable hooded sandals aren’t helping either. The only thing I worry about with a style like this is because I’m so short, I’m afraid it’s going to give the illusion that my legs are even shorter than they already are. I’ll have to try it out, but I’m picturing these with a silky maxi skirt and loose tucked in tank…you know for all of those hot summer days I’m anxiously awaiting.
