Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I’m back from a week-long blogcation. I love to disconnect and unplug this time of year. It felt great to turn the e-mails off on my phone and log out of social media. I spent a lot of time on the couch watching Coming to America, hanging out with family, and of course catching the 50% off sale at the thrift store where I found this green faux leather jacket.
I can’t get enough of green and navy so I wore this jacket two days in a row. I wore it on Christmas Day with a red statement necklace and the following day with my new Ohio t-shirt from Neighbor’s Apparel. Based right here in Akron, Neighbor’s Apparel employs talented refugee women who craft beautiful one of kind pieces. This Ohio pocket tee is made in Akron by Karen women with fabric handwoven by Karen women in Thailand.
These have to be the most dangerous shoes I own and not because of the high wedge but because they are completely lacking any type of traction. Someone once told me to tape duct tape to the bottom of the shoe to prevent slips. It totally works, try it!
