Vintage Top

Last year when I was asked to participate in the Goodwill Good Style Fashion Show, it didn’t take me very long to decide on a theme. I took one look at this vintage blouse and knew immediately that I wanted to do something with Moroccan colors. I used this top as my real life Pinterest board throughout the entire styling process. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up using it in the show because it was  too big for the model but rest assured, I based all of my decisions for the show on this top.

I never knew how well purples, yellows, fuchsia worked together until I bought this shirt. I paired it with a mustard cardigan seen here, my new thrifted jeans, and a pair of ankle boots. I never go to Kohl’s but happened to be there exchanging a Christmas gift over the holidays and saw these boots just sitting there with a $15 price tag whispering to me that they need a new home. So naturally, I took them home.
