DIY: Card Gift Boxes

I save gift boxes and cards until I reach the point where I have no use or room for them. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with old cards for the longest time, especially Christmas cards. I feel bad throwing them away, but really couldn’t possibly save all of them. Usually, I’ll cut the front pretty side of the card and use it as a postcard, but this holiday season I’m going to use old Christmas cards as gift box covers.

This is so easy and basic. Just cut the top of the card, find a box that fits the size of the card, glue it with spray glue and use a sealant like Mod Podge to make it look official! You can get as creative as you want by cutting the card and positioning it the way you like.

What do you do with old cards?
